D-Hub started as the internal system for one UK dental practice. Five years on, it runs the day-to-day for several — and it’s opening up to more.
Who we are
D-Hub is a product of Caroleo Technology Ltd, trading as Ctech UK — a small, focused UK software house. We don’t do everything for everyone. We build dental software, and we build it carefully.
How D-Hub started
It started at Brecknock Dental. The practice manager was juggling staff records in spreadsheets, leave requests over WhatsApp, payslips by email, and a lab diary on paper. The off-the-shelf options were either eye-wateringly expensive enterprise systems (SOE, Carestream) or generic HR tools (BambooHR, Personio) that didn’t understand a dental practice.
We built what was missing — a single system that actually fits the way a small dental practice runs. It’s been in production, every working day, ever since. KT Dental joined next, and Q Dental is now coming on as the first practice on the public-facing D-Hub brand.
Why D-Hub exists
UK dental practice management software has been stuck. The big names are slow to change, expensive, and built for a different era. The modern HR tools are smooth, but they don’t care that you’re a dentist — there’s no concept of a GDC number, no awareness of CQC, no place for lab tracking.
D-Hub fills that gap. It’s modern, it’s opinionated about dental workflows, and it’s priced to make sense for an independent practice — not a corporate group with a buyer in head office.
